The starting model is the 1984 Honda FT500 which has been deeply modified, that is the replacement of the engine with the more modern and newer 650cc Honda RFVC composed of a 39 Mikuni carburetor with KN air cleaner. The assembly of a dry carter engine has induced the production of a GM oil tank. The frame has been altered by welding at the back a steel arch in order to stiffen and refine the structure. A Twin Honda 350 fuel tank has been added; the exhaust pipe has been “cut and welded” in the GM way. The alloy rims have been replaced with lighter spoke wheels keeping the dimensions of the original wheels: front 3,50-19, rear 4,25-18, Heidenau K60 tyres. As regards rear suspensions a traditional 43mm Showa and Bitubo shock absorbers have been chosen with a great range in order to favor the rugged grounds. GM aluminum mudguards, GM saddle, Tarozzi footboards, Nissin brakes, GM mini-speedometer, Tommaselli handlebar, Ojc grips, GM number disc, GM lights, lithium battery.

It was produced in 25 days in December 2010 in order to be exhibited at the “Pitti Exposition” of January 2011, in the section “Fine Art Dirt Collection" conceived by Alberto Narduzzi. A huge and hectic task in projecting and manufacturing was followed by a really satisfying result, as the motorcycle resulted first classified in the Flat Track Italian Championship as well as in the World Championship. GM workshop remade a lot of components, such as frame, swing arm, shock linkages with a system “unit-pro link”, hubs, steering heads, exhaust pipe, footboard plates, idraulic rear brake with caliper and master cylinder, all the aluminum parts, that is rear fairing, safe fork tubes and number disc. The contribution of Alberto Fasciani was fundamental for the cromatic choice and the realization of any leather part. Technical Description: - TM 450 engine with carburetor characterized by electric starter and water cooling –oil bathed clutch pump – featherbed cradle steel (CRMO) frame – suspensions, a 43 mm showa front suspension with ergal plates extracted from pieno, rear steel swing arm with shock linkages out of ergal driven by 46PRXLS ohlins shock absorber – wheel Excel 19” rims with GM hubs extracted from pieno with a system for inverting the rotation of the rear wheel - Maxxis DTR-1 Tyres- Brembo rear brake with 250mm Braking disc.

As concerns the Kawasaki 440 LTD a great attention has been drawn to the chassis assembling Faba spoke wheels with Talon hubs keeping the measures of the original tyres, Bridgestone Bt 45: front wheels 19”, rear wheels 16”. As for the brakes we’ve chosen a Braking at the front with a 320mm disc and a 240mm Brembo at the back with GM brake calipers plates. Suspensions are: the front traditional 43mm Showa suspension with GM ergal plates and rear Ikon shock absorbers. Then we’ve assembled Mikuni 34 Carburetors with KN air cleaner, Motogadget instruments, a GM black edition exhaust pipe, a Valter Moto Handlebar, GM lights, turn indicator lights and rear-view mirrors, twist grip throttle control, Domino clutch. GM mudguards, saddle + GM brackets. Tarozzi footboards.

A light restoration work but impressive! GM Saddle, hand made GM exhaust pipe, Valter Moto red handlebar, Rizoma rear-view mirrors, mini dark turn indicator lights, Mikuni 39 carburetor with air cleaner KN.

Then the first Harley Davison in the wake of Giorgetti’s style!
